A Family Legacy

At Tre Cime Shoes, our story is woven into every stitch, every sole, and every stride. More than a business, Tre Cime is the living legacy of generations of Italian shoemakers—my family by marriage—whose passion for their craft has shaped their lives and now, with immense pride, is crossing oceans to shape yours.

I spent over two years of my life in Italy. Throughout are just a few pictures I've taken in places where I lived for a period of time, Tuscany, Venice, and Asolo. I met my wife in 2013 while studying in Asolo and eventually got married in her hometown in Caselle di Altivole (about 45 minutes northwest of Venice, just south of the Dolomite mountains.

Tre Cime was established in 1952. It was started by my wife’s grandfather, and now is owned by her uncle, aunt, and two of her three cousins. ‘Tre Cime’ is Italian for ‘three [mountain] peaks’ which has a dual connotation for their proximity from the mountains and to also honor his three children.

Each time I landed in the Venice airport and I visited the shoe factory, it reminded me of one of my first jobs back when I was a teenager working in a shoe store as an associate. I always had the idea of owning my own shoe store and bringing the Tre Cime brand to the United States, it started to become a reality. Finally taking the leap, I am excited to expand my wife’s family history and continue expanding the family business by creating my own business here in the US. We carry with us not just the traditions of Italian leatherwork, but the soul of a family that has poured its heart into every pair of shoes for decades.

With our expansion to America, we are opening our family up to yours. At Tre Cime Shoes USA, every customer becomes part of our extended family.

Thank you for considering joining us on this exciting adventure. Our family’s journey continues, and with your support, each step leads us toward something extraordinary—together.

The Artisans

Our journey officially began in 1952 with the founding of the company. But our passion for footwear was sparked even earlier—under the shade of the old family pergola, where our grandfather Iginio handcrafted wooden and leather clogs with care and dedication.

In 1952, Iginio transformed that passion into a business. He chose a name that reflected his deep connection to the mountains—but also something more personal. Tre Cime (Three Peaks) is a tribute to his three children, the most important peaks along the path of a lifetime.

Since then, our products have evolved continuously, yet our commitment to craftsmanship and excellence has remained unchanged. Over the years, our expertise has been sought after by prestigious brands for exclusive collections.

Today, the company is led by Adriano, Iginio’s son, supported by his wife Ivana and their two sons, Stefano and Andrea—the new peaks guiding a project born from an idea and grown into a way of life.

Every step of the shoemaking process—from design to production—is carried out in Italy. Each family member plays a specific role, and from these hands come creations where uniqueness is a value to be proudly displayed.

Time as a style icon.

Our style draws inspiration from the most iconic models of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, reinterpreted through our creative lens. We strip away the superfluous, follow clean lines, and distill each design to its essence—highlighting materials, craftsmanship, and the uniqueness born of decades of artisanal experience.

In an age that devours ideas, trends, and fashions at a dizzying pace, our collections invite people to pause and appreciate the true value of a shoe—its comfort, durability, and sustainable production.

That’s why we focus on premium materials, traceable sourcing, and a process that respects both the environment and the people behind the work. Our leathers are vegetable-tanned, our soles are made of real rubber, and the nature of our shoes reflects the identity of those who wear them—often choosing to buy less, but buy better.
